From Princess: “Grandmother’s not related to anyone important, and our mother was a hierodule from Keltokel. I’ll find a picture of the Child Dynast, I’m curious now."

To Kuroihire Kenta: “Leaving Tatlankel. Wanted to perform for the Dynast, so Tatlankel’s Nomarch made me a Dynastic Architect candidate. Don’t worry, I lost. Akhet is safe. Love you.”

From Kuroihire Kenta: “That’s wonderful, I hope the new Dynast enjoyed your performance, and maybe you’ll get another chance some other time. We’re both well here. Love you.”

From Kuriohire Kaori: “Don’t trick your father with stories about the new Dynast! If you miss my cooking, come home. Bring obsidian. Be careful out there! Love you.”

Kasumi had to re-cast tiny hut several times due to improper placement and did not have spells left for sending.

9th of Late Dolina

To Hozysh: “Kasimir’s with us. You should tell the King! We ran into his sister in Ireneuzski. Didn’t hear what they talked about, but it looked serious.”

From Hozysh: “We sure could use him here, the King’s cleaning out Harbor Watch collaborators. Can’t imagine him with family. I thought he’d sprouted from a rock."

To Serevey: “I thought you should know, we’re going to another place of potential in Zeel. Thank you, Countess saved us many times, but she’s also terrifying.”

Kasumi spent much of her magic pursuing a monkey who stole her mother’s beads, leaving her with no magic to spare for sending.

Kasumi created the tiny hut and fell asleep almost instantly.

To Bogumila: “Still shocking people? Supposed to help Govannon’s sister learn a spell, but no time... I’ll get a souvenir! Dunno when I can bring it, though.”

From Bogumila: “I’ll come get it! I’m well enough to travel, I’ve been under the mountain twice now! I’ll trade Bronislaw to you. He needs a journey.”

To Bronislaw: “Hello, any news? Asked Maut last time, but she says it’s quiet. I don’t like that the Satrap’s men are nearby. It’ll go bad eventually.”

From Bronislaw: “I’ve been on the other side of the mountain. Father has me keeping order with the new clan members. The widows are kicking my ass.”

To Jimyouin Uchitoki: “Still traveling, but near. How are things since we left? Did they find Maxeem? The closer we get, the more I have a bad feeling.”

From Jimyouin Uchitoki: “Maxeem escaped on boat. Strong Arms in pursuit. Wong Tao left with adventurers. Be at peace. Come back and we’ll reach for satori together again."

To Hozysh: “About the Dynastic Architect… I may have messed with the selection process, and also slept with the probable candidate. Oops. Don’t tell anyone.”

From Hozysh: “A wrinkly old fish or an idealistic young philosopher? Old, I bet. Still, I’m jealous, not even Serevey leches on me! (I like girls anyway.)”

To Princess: “Countess has been dragging this mutu along. It’s like a weird pet that could snap and kill you. You’re a priestess now, right? Any advice?”

From Princess: “In Geb’s name why? Destroy it. The mutu, not Countess. But something’s off about that yanta. Remember, mutu are evil and so they do evil.”

Perhaps inspired by last night’s sendings, Kasumi sat at the edge of her protective barrier and observed Sesen for a while instead.

To Fryderyk: “You inspired a song I sang in Calcite, crowd loved it… But now I feel shy! Dunno if I’ll sing it again! Must write more…”
