The Child Dynast Announces Grand Peregrination From the Suzerain’s Court, the Child Dynast has declared their intention to embark upon a Grand Peregrination.  In ages past, this would signify a trip on foot by the Dynast and their Court from horizon to horizon.  The Dynast would visit each city of Akhet and receive the devotion of its people as being formed of Geb’s flesh under Ranute’s gaze.  This marks the first announcement of a Grand Peregrination in 500 years.  A spokesman for the Hierophant declared their support of this procession.  “It is right that the Dynast, beloved of the gods, affirm their dominion.  As Regent of the Suzerainty, the Hierophant pledges the appropriate entourage of the priesthood to advise and protect the Dynast.” Collapse and Flooding in the Stone! Several tunnels in the lower regions of the Stone near Yaskel collapsed yesterday in the late evening.  The Harbor Guard cordoned the affected tunnels and reiterates that the tunnels within the Stone are not safe for habitation.  The entrenched squatter community refused to leave any but the immediately affected areas.  Artificers engaged by the Synod of All Cities theorize that las thaws are the cause of the cave-in.  Rescue efforts are still underway by the Harbor Guard and squatters, with several victims found live, and around 40 confirmed dead.  Word at the Crossroads The harsh grota went with several of the most blessed personages of the City of Cities absent from our adoring attentions.  Apsu’s Welcome signals a return to warmer weather and outdoor festivals, will our precious birds fly back to us?  Mediolanu Derranat (and his very expansive coinpurse) is rumored to have returned from a hunting expedition in Calcite with armloads of exotic furs.  No word of the wicked belle Sebastienne Goeth, after her disappearance from our streets and salons last stok.  If you’re reading this, I’ll see you at Snakewisdom’s soiree in Late Las (feel free to leave your dour Baltine moneyboy wherever you’ve been hiding).
